I've never been one to do things in the traditional paradigm.

A Montana upbringing instilled a passion for working with my hands, leading to a love of welding, machining, and turning wrenches. My interests prompted me to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics, which in turn provided me with a foundation to understand the physics as well as the practical implementation of the products I love.

While in school, I seemingly couldn't get enough of any one discipline, resulting in a one-off blend of formal education. By day, I dug into circuit design, materials science, and CAD, while at night I logged hours TIG welding, running Bridgeport mills, and rebuilding engines on my kitchen table. Throughout this time I also fostered an innate interest in communication, and believe that the ability to convey technically rich content in an easily digestible manner is a unique skill, essential to the harmony of engineering and design.

I've been fortunate enough to learn from some of the most inspiring companies and individuals, including Apple, Sonos, and Square. In these roles, I have been able to apply my technical depth while simultaneously drawing on my breadth of exposure to deliver world-class products. Iā€™m currently working to integrate modern sensors and product design to industrial products, and am fortunate enough to call Durango, CO home.

I strive to channel my energy and drive to teams which push the envelope, pride themselves on quality, and don't constrain themselves to the status quo.
